TRANSPORTATION GAME PLAN 

Navigating Tampa Bay is as smooth as a perfect free throw. Whether traveling by wheels, water, or on foot, plenty of options ensure easy access to the action.

  • The Tampa Riverwalk offers a 2.6-mile scenic route connecting key venues in downtown Tampa.

  • Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) offers commuters a streamlined bus network, including convenient downtown routes.

  • Tampa's TECO Line Streetcar allows you to travel freely for FREE, with several convenient stops on its 2.7-mile route between Downtown Tampa and historic Ybor City.

  • Pirate Water Taxi allows you to travel the scenic route between its 12 convenient stops along Tampa's downtown waterways, including Water Street, the Tampa Convention Center, Curtis Hixon Park, and Armature Works.  

  • The Cross Bay Ferry allows you to skip traffic hassles and enjoy a beautiful ride from Downtown St. Pete to Downtown Tampa. It features affordable fares and convenient departures.

  • The Downtowner or DASH (Downtown Area Shared Hubs) is a hub-to-hub transit service. Rides are requested through an app and cost $2 per person. With over twenty virtual hubs, DASH is a great way to get around and explore Downtown easily

  • E-scooters, e-scooters, and bike shares are readily available for those hustling through the city.

The following areas have been designated as Rideshare Pick-up Zones in Downtown Tampa to facilitate easy access for all guests.

PARKING

Driving to the event? Tampa offers a variety of parking options. Downtown garages and surface lots are available, but spaces fill up faster than a fast break, so plan ahead.

 

DOWNTOWN TAMPA GARAGES AND SURFACE LOTS

A limited number of public and private parking structures throughout downtown Tampa will be available to accommodate fans attending NCAA Women's Final Four events.

Primary parking structures are located:

 

  • Fort Brooke Garage - 107 North Franklin Street

  • Pam Iorio Parking Garage - 301 Channelside Drive

  • Twiggs Garage - 901 East Twiggs Street

  • The Car Park Garage - 810 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602

  • Palm Garage - 2010 N 13th St, Tampa, FL 33605

  • Twiggs Street Garage - 901 E Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602

  • Scott Street Parking Lot - 1301 N. Morgan Street, Tampa, FL 33602

  • Poe Garage  - 800 N Ashley Street, Tampa, FL 33602

PARKING METERS

 

DAYS AND HOURS OF ENFORCEMENT

Parking Meters are available and operate 8 a.m. to 12 a.m., seven (7) days a week. Spaces are enforced on nights, weekends, and holidays. More information can be found on the City of Tampa's Parking page.

 

Metered street parking is available downtown and payment options include coins, credit/debit cards, and the City of Tampa's Parkmobile smartphone app. Parking rates vary depending on the space's location. Rates and hours of operation for each space can be accessed by entering the space number at any Parking Pay Station located throughout the downtown area.

Parking rates in the Downtown, Water Street, and the Channel District vary depending on the space's location. Rates and hours of operation for each space can be accessed by entering the space number at any nearby Parking Pay Stations or via the ParkMobile app.

 

PARKING METER TIME LIMITS

Time limits at metered locations can vary by location and range from 15 minutes to 8 hours. In most areas, the maximum duration is 2 hours; however, some areas may have longer maximum durations during the evenings and weekends. Parking time limits are posted on each meter.

 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible parking is also available for fans requiring ADA accommodations. Visit the City of Tampa's Parking page for more details, including rates and time limits.
